Thank you. And now I pray for others like me:

O most holy apostle, Saint Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, and of things almost despaired of.

Pray for me, who am so helpless and alone. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of.

Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and helpr of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly (all in need of miracles) and that I may praise God with thee and all the elect forever.

I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you.

Romano, that song by Mike and the Mechanics was about a guy who lost his girl. Funny, but for some people it would take a miracle to get back together.

Ah yes, that is the song! Thank you for the reminder. I remember the music video for it was quite amusing, and involved a portly gentleman who had his money stolen from him. 🙂

As for men and women with romantic difficulties, the prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes does contain the following petition: “Have pity on those who love each other and are separated.” 😉
