I took up that practice about a week ago and have really loved it. I’ve found my restlessness and anxiety is way down, there are many more signal graces, and I just feel blessed.
I was reading St. Louis de Monfort’s “Secrets of the Rosary” And he was emhasizing that you must pray the rosary well. He recommends taking several pauses during each prayer, trying your best to know what you are saying. St Louis recommends 3 rosaries a day (now four if you do Luminous). I wonder how he could keep such devotion going for fifteen decades.
Today I began bowing my head at Mary’s name and bending at the waste for Jesus name, and trying my best to know what I was saying. It took me a very long time time to finish the first rosary.
I want to sustain the practice of 4 rosaries at all costs but I feel like I can’t do four well without getting burnt out or giving up. Any tips?
