For those who think that the Church is controlled by Freemasonry (or very heavily influenced by it), I am just curious, do you then believe that the expansion of the Church (into say, Africa or the US) is bad since it also promotes the masonic domination of the world? Or is the spread of Catholicism worth it? But then, if freemasons did control the Church, in what sense would they spread Catholicism except in some watered down fashion?

Freemasonry does not control freemasonry. Conspiracy theories are universally unreliable, but to suggest that thousands of independent groups using the same general name, some of the same symbols, that may or may not recognize one another, some that outright declare others invalid, are coming together in some secret cabal that never leaks to the media, well, it’s never going to happen.

Corporations, who are even more heterogeneous, can take over a government so much more could perhaps one or a few freemasons do so (it’s not true that every freemason has to conspire for it to be true that some freemasons could conspire).

But the point is, I’m not advancing a conspiracy or a theory but I’m asking “if you do believe this, then what policy proposal comes from it?”
