This is the reality for a lot of the new generation, please don’t dismiss the fact that our own education can put doubt into our minds.

We go to school, are told the world is around 4.5 billion years old, we are told that 64 million years divides us from the dinosaurs, we are told that modern humans appeared at least 100,00 years ago.

I’ll be honest with you, even one athiest scientist can crush my faith, especially Richard Dawkins.

So what eventually will happen to us who really want God in our life but are unable to have faith or little at that? it’s unfair, we can’t help it, we really want it, i really don’t think the ball is in our court from that point.

But the ball i**s in your court. You must be a conqueror, not a victim.
Catholicism doesn’t deny evolutionary science, but finds it compatible with God the Creator of all things. Read up on this.
We are all besieged by secular society which is more and more anti-God, anti-Christian. But there is a God and Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Everyone must eventually answer Jesus’ question: “Who do YOU say that I am?”
Do you pray, immerse yourself daily in Scripture, and spend time listening to God? If you don’t, you may well not find Him. He will come to you in the still, small whisper if you allow Him to.

Yes, i listened to all the new testament and a few books from the old, not as a chore but out of hope and wanting to love, praying every night and sometimes during the day, long walks thinking about God, going to church. all just long suffering.

Generally Love comes softly and often slowly. Sometimes Love and the knowledge of God does hit us square in the forehead like Samson flinging a stone from his slingshot. Most of us do have to creep our way along the path to God.
God is already within you and has made Himself known to you or you just wouldn’t be seeking Him. Otherwise all of us would be content to eat, sleep, procreate and then do it all over again without thought or the questing our existence.
I think, with just what little you posted, that God is already deep within you and your are seeking to let Him work in and through you.
There is seldom magic bullets in finding God unless you count the many miracles that go unseen in our daily lives. You…and all of us…might try to develop an open eye-open heart attitude and Love-Life style with arms wide open. God IS helping. He IS assisting With arms wide open and welcoming He is there and with you and with all of us.
Sorry if I get long winded; I often do. My faith is simple as I am a simple person. Peace.

Yes, God should help us, and we should pray to Him and ask Him to do just that.

God, please help us find You.

Jesus has promised that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. Remember that He is the one, right now, who has implanted the need to find Him in you. He has already taken the lead. Be patient, and give Him time every day.
Morning and evening prayer, meditation, spiritual reading daily. If you are Catholic, go to Confession, daily Mass, and weekly Adoration. I guarantee that will do it. If you are not Catholic, look up a Catholic church with Adoration and go sit there and pray. Everyone is welcome. Amazing things will happen for you soon.
