For unity between siblings as their mother's health declines

Friends,

I am asking for your prayers for a family of brothers and sisters who are at present trying to sort out how to organise themselves in caring for their aging mother.

She is quite feeble now and is at present in hospital. She is due for release either today or tomorrow and a decisioin has to be made for her care.

There is a serious disunity flowing under the entire family, consisting of rivalry, distrust and one-upmanship between the siblings right now and they need clarity of heart and unity of mind to ensure that their mother is cared for in the best possible manner.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
I pray that the Holy Spirit guides them down the path that is true- this is what will be best for their mother. I can sympathize with the situation and will keep these siblings in my prayers

Dear God, may you bring Fergal’s family together in peace as they assist their mother. Open hearts and clear the way for healing in this family.

Father, you have seen the families that have been
torn apart by satan as our loved ones age and become ill.
We, your humble servants ask you to step into the hearts
of this family and all the families that are experiencing
things like this right now.
Guide these siblings to make the right choices for their
mother. Grant them peace and understanding. Remove
all greed and need to “be in charge”. Replace these ill
feelings with Love and Warmth.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ!
