For Vocation to Marriage

I know I’ve asked before for prayers, and I know they help. Right now waiting for Mr. Right to figure out God’s plan for his life might just include someone loving him is incredibly hard. My sister had the same problems when she was my age, she married at 50, so I do have someone to talk to. We had two baptisms this weekend, and I sobbed through both Masses…my friends are married and having babies and right after I ooh and ahh over the cute pictures and babies, I go home and cry. I don’t have years ahead of me to have kids, I have been waiting and just want to give that love to the person God has chosen. Right now I’m sick of waiting.

Please don’t pray for me to have patience----but please pray for Mr. Right to wake up, I think he must not have anyone around him willing to encourage him, it must only be in stories that some brave friend or mentor walks up to the man and says “Stop being an idiot, this woman loves you unconditionally and you two are perfect for eachother!”

May you meet a holy Catholic man and marry him. May or Lord’s holy will be done in your life with no obstacles to his holy will. May you love our Lord’s will, and be surrendered to it. Amen.

ohhh sweetie. My heart breaks for you. Have you ever thought that Mr. Right is not GODS Mr. Right for you? Time to tell him to pee or get off the pot. I will pray that you will marry and have a whole broad of children. God has the seed planted in you heart so I find it hard to believe it will not happen. You yearning is a sign that God has made you to be a wife and mother. Keep asking him. xoxoxo:thumbsup:

I definitely keep asking 🙂 The vocations director at the Diocese and my own spiritual director both agree that I’m called to be married…I hope and pray that day is soon, and that the man God has picked for me as I asked Him to do years ago will have a heart and mind open to God’s will for his life. I’ve met so many people that want to stick God into a little box when it comes to His answers and direction in their life.

May all our movements, all their movements, be guided by your Light and transfigured by your Joy. Angel Guide of Tobias, lay the request we now address to you at the feet of Him on whose unveiled face you are privileged to gaze. Lonely and tired, crushed by the separations and sorrows of earth, we feel the need of calling to you and of pleading for the protection of your wings, so that we may not be as strangers in the Province of Joy, all ignorant of the concerns of our country. Blessings to you in Jesus and Mary, dear Elizabeth 51

I know how you should feel for not having encountered that Mr. Right in your life
so far. I’m a male and I’ve been years and years praying and asking the Lord to
please answer my prayers concerning a wife. I confess to you it’s frustrating and
a deep pain, but I don’t give up upon my hope to find the lovely lady God has
prepared for me. I’ve been preparing in all possible ways in wait for that the day
in which I’ll finally meet her. But I decided it’s time to do something and not let
God do the work alone, while I wait for his answer doing nothing on my part. If
God has a woman who is to be my wife, she is alive now and somewhere waiting.
So it’s time to go find her!! So while I pray to God for his answer, I’m also doing
the part of the job that belongs to me, which is trying to decently and politely meet
godfearing females, in the hope of identifying the one that will also feel the urge
and need to form a Christian love relationship with me. And this is what I’m so far
doing without successful results. But as long as I keep doing something I know I
will meet Mrs. Right somewhere along the line. Because faith without deeds is a
vain faith!! This why I feel that for some reason I should reply to your post. I’ll
have you in my daily prayers. I hope you pray for me daily, too! We may also
share experiences with each other if you wish and encourage each other!! Of
course, you must send me a message so that I can share some comments,
prayers and devotions with you. That way we can help each other spiritually,
in Jesus and Mary!!

Wish God may answer your prayers soon and bring that Mr. Special to your life!
