For you and for many - implementation?

Hi all

Is there any news on when the church will implement the revision for the Novus Ordo Mass, to “for you and for many” instead of the “for you and for all”?

Only when the new English Roman Missal is complete. Advent 2010 seems to be the target date according to what my ICEL-translation-committee-member bishop said to me on Sunday. That’s if the various bishops’ conferences can agree on the various parts of the Missal as they are voted on before being submitted to Rome. The US bishops just rejected one part which all the other conferences had accepted.
 
We already have the “for you and for many” in the Mass. We always had.

Yes, we know that the official text of the Mass, in Latin, says ‘for many’.
