Forgot, "Do this in memory of me." Valid?

Our new pastor, who is very progressive, forgot to say, “Do this in memory of me,” after raising the Cup today. Of course, everyone is entitled to a “senior moment” now and then. But if this becomes a habit, should I be worried? Would it be OK, or a liturgical abuse, or make anything invalid? (He did say it after raising the Host.)

It does not make anything invalid. However someone should suggest that he avoid these mistakes by reading exactly what is in front of him in the Sacramentary, instead of do it from memory.
 
He shouldn’t have said do this in memory of me after consecrating the host. But yes, the consecration would be valid.
