Forgotten Sins and the Eucharist

Say that someone has recently confessed, and has not committed a mortal sin since their confession. However, they have remembered a mortal sin they committed in the past. If they are unable to go to confession before the next mass, should they not receive the Eucharist? Are they still in a state of mortal sin if they intend to confess this forgotten mortal sin at their next confession?

Right, and if you remember a mortal sin you should tell the priest at your next confession - it’s already forgiven, so you can receive Communion, but you can get your penance for it.
