If you truly feel you must leave, please consider the fact that you might feel differently at some point in your life and refrain from burning your bridges altogether. Many people leave for many years over objections such as yours. But a whole lot of us come back. Please leave yourself that room. If Christianity or the Catholic Church isn’t the truth, then there’s no logical reason for you to need or want to formally separate yourself from it. If it is the truth, there’s every reason why you wouldn’t want to formally separate yourself.

What gives you the urge

A God you declare isn’t there?
