No, I seem to “fight” only with those whose posts require responses in kind, like yours for example. Please dont use a phrase like “with all due respect” when you arent offering any respect at all. The problem with many posts here is, they think thay they say it and thats it, but that is not the case. They think because Rome says it, that is it, all is above challenge. It is not.

The sketch I outlined was but a nutshell. I have and continue to study the Bible in depth. I also, at the time, studied apologetics. What religion exactly am I making up now? That portrayed by Jesus in Sacred Scripture? Are you on of those that think anything else other than the RCC is not valid? All other interetations are wrong if not from the RCC? So basing your Christian faith on the shirt tail of one or two or even 20 priests is just a fools game. I’ve been there. That’s why I’m giving it my all to learn apologetics as best I can. I’m still working things out… I do have knuckleheaded Protestant ways as you may see already. I have a tendency to UNUNCIATE!!! my faith as Father said to my wife once. He didn’t criticize me for it either. He just recognized it. My wife on the other hand is tired of people up and front constantly trying to convert others.
My guess is that you have not even truly studied the bible yet. I mean through and through… I read the bible through before I graduated from High School. I mean studied it. To clarify I read the Old Testament once and the New Testament 3 times before enter the semimary where I studied Old Testament among other courses. But I assure you the bible study that priests learn is shallow compared to that of bible school in college. But the difference is interpretation and Tradition since the historical Church, not some made up religion as you seem to be making up now. But that’s your choice.
Your “profile” should be changed now and should not deceive people by claiming to be a practicing Catholic. So what do you put now? I can think of several things. Why the “The Church of What’s Happening Now”?
