I am realy a person and I have only one idenity, I go by only one name and I have nothing to hide. I have met alto of phonys here. people who are not what they say and change their names and become someone else like snapping your fingers. i never know who I am talking to. Why all the Drama? Suspence? Lies? Why do catholics have so many names and e-mail addresses? Why are they so many people pretending? it realy makes me wonder and think. you scare me never mind a stranger.

I was baptized catholic, made first communion, conformation, and have been reconciled back to the church. but since i have been here on this forum I have found such mean unloving people I don’t think I will ever meet in any church or any denomination around the four quarters of the earth! I am ot here to agravate anyone just to say the truth as I can see it as I have learned it right here!

Yes, it has been a while since I have reponded…I have been very busy with our new baby and had not realized how many people have posted on here.
I have not made any decisions, yet I have to say that all of the hatred back and forth truly saddens me. As someone who is searching for the truth it is sad to see “religious” people go back and forth whith such hatred. I understand that you believe what you believe, and that because of this you will disagree, but can it not be done out of love?
I just say this because it seems as if most not everyone who claims to know the truth acts this way…and it is very sad.
I want to know that what I am believing in is the TRUTH…so I am continuing to search…
I am very thankful to all of you who are praying for me, and to those who have tried to encourage me…

Well, I watched all 3 videos. He basically just lists a load of quotes from writers and protestants that hate the catholic church, the pope, and priests.
He doesnt actually take on and refute any catholic doctrine in theological detail to prove why it cannot be so.
Bit disappointing for a man as educated as a human being can be,

This is not necessarily true, and often enough is just the opposite when a person is leaving one tradition for another. Remember, a person may have family and others trying to pressure them, and they are already leaving something familiar for something new and “strange” to them, so more likely than not, many things will not feel right, (but that doesn’t mean it isn’t right.)

This is a very odd response. Are you implying that I have something to hide because I am using a username based on the Faith rather than my name? The Archangel Michael is named similarly, as Michael means “Who is like unto God?” It’s a statement, as is my username, EENS, which stands for a teaching of the Church, “extra ecclesiam nulla salus”…I am not being deceptive in any way, shape or form. It is perfectly commonplace to choose a username based off of the forum type (in this case Catholicism), and MOST people do it - not to be dishonest or deceptive as you wrongfully imply.
Also, in responding as you did to my post, you managed to NOT answer either of my questions…so who here is being deceptive? You come up with this bizarre response and call me scary…lol.

Whatever you decide you will find their are wolves in sheep’s clothing among the sheep. In fact, Satan has always done his worst where Faith is the strongest. You will never find any group of believers with a strong faith that he will not try and attack. Yet, I think you have the best focus. Truth. Find what is true and you will be attacked, but you will also have an unlimited arsenal of grace. I know what this journey is like. Everyone in my family is Southern Baptist and my brother also went to seminary for theology. A journey to find Truth, even beyond what one was raised with, takes courage, patience and prayers. May God guide you on your way.
