Catholicism teaches about a God who loves all of mankind, throughout the ages, not one who went missing for 1700 hundred years leaving us to fend for ourselves with no priesthood or Church or ordained ministers.

On day genuine Catholics will discover quite how much harm Mormon apostates who have turned āCatholicā for their own convenience are doing to them; and they will be ādespised by those that flattered themā (D&C 121:20). The mormon god is made in the image of man, more like a Greek god, with all the foibles of man, including his necessity to have sex with a young woman to create Jesus.
As to ex-mormons being the only ones cheering me on. I received great charity from non-ex-mormons on this board.
As to your comments about convenience. In my weakness I do not think there is a day that doesnāt go by that I do not think that perhaps I could close my eyes, my mind, my logic and my heart and go to sleep and accept mormonism - just for some piece from the bombardment of home and family.
Zerinus, someone on this board said you were only 16. I would say that some of yopur comments betray your youth, but I see it in older mormons too. Fast & testimony meeting was full of it this Sunday. No, rather you betray your mormonism.

- They aggressively prostelytize
- They are anti-Catholic
- They pressure people to believe as they do, spreading racist, anti-Catholic, sexist and end-times doctrines, as a prelude to conversion.
- They fear free speech. They fear that non-Mormons might learn more about their doctrines, āscripturesā, sickness in their culture, and history. Only the naive are converted, to learn more later.
- Because of their strength in certain geographical areas, they are more of a threat there, reducing religious freeedom because of the above pressures.
- Because of the wealth of the church from ātithingā, they wield power beyond thier numbers.
- There is a strong undercurrent favoring theocracy, which is again, a violation of freedom of religion.

Generally, size does not matter. There was a time when Christians were in the vast minority everywhere in the world. They are still in the minority in many places.
Also, the Catholic Church was founded by the Second Person of the Trinity, the One True God about 2,000 years ago and has been guided by the Holy Spirit ever since. LDS was founded by some guys less than 200 years ago who wanted to have lots of wives and who claimed that God was not powerful enough to prevent universal apostasy from coming into the world even during the lifetime of those who walked with Jesus.
Size does not matter. However, Truth will never be illogical.
