Confirm what? That my experience wouldn’t be the truth or not? So you are basically saying I’m a liar as well? And no I am not going to PM you anything, I don’t give out any personal info to any member at CAF including the area code I live in.
 
Continuing prayers that Planned Parenthood will no longer perform, provide, or be involved in any way, shape, or form in even one single abortion. Praying that Planned Parenthood will no longer provide artificial contraception.

Continuing prayers that all Catholics will follow the Pope and the Magisterium/Teachings of the Catholic Church on pro-life issues such as abortion and contraception.

I am saying what I have been saying all along: anyone can write anything on a forum and that does not make it data. The phone number of the office you called is not “personal data” it is public information. I have no idea if you would lie or not, I don’t know a thing about you. I do know that I have no reason to support your story and if I get the same kind of response, then forum members can pretty much count on that being factual.

Could you explain why when blacks make up 12% of the population why black babies make up 35% of the abortions in America? Why does planned parenthood locate more than 3/4 of their stores in minority communities?

Yeah, and I fully know what a non-profit is. How planned parenthood get their franchise in under that loophole is a mockery of the system if there ever was one.

And I have no reason to believe anything you have said either about your own personal experiences with PP OR your friend’s experience. I and the rest of CAF only have YOUR word to go by. But I now have my “own” experience that I can share with my local right to life group, so thanks for that. Some good will come out of this exchange of comments in this thread.

And if you are so much about the truth and facts, reveal where your friend works so we can call and confirm what you are saying is the “truth.”

I mentioned misdiagnosis, because in one of your previous post, you ranted about how they mistreat women by misdiagnosing their problems. Maybe you should review what you’ve written. Misdiagnosis isn’t an exclusive PP fault. It happens anywhere, to anybody, more times than it should. As a nurse, I see it too often.

I stated it badly, of course, Margaret Sanger started PP. However, in the late 1960’s, PP really took off.

As to being brainwashed—tone down your virulent diatribe a moment. You know nothing about me. As to being a spokesmen for PP----nothing in my previous posts indicates any support of PP on my behalf.

I question the ethics of someone who would violate the non-disclosures and established norms of business secrets to “intimate friends” while continuing to draw a paycheck. As an officer, again in both the corporate and non-profit area, I have never violated the trust placed in me by any board, that is business ethics 101.

My hope is that you bring a Christian witness to your intimate friend, that you encourage her to turn to Christ and away from the world of contraception, fornication, abortion and immodesty

It’s actually 50% in New York. The most dangerous place for a black baby is in its mother’s womb.

People like Julia Mae, Planned Parenthood apologists, will claim that PP is actually HELPING minorities by putting their clinics in minority demographic areas. If there wasn’t a demand for their services, they wouldn’t be there, right? But the mission of Margaret Sanger is still being carried out, whether or not any individual employee knows about it or not. The organization still gives out an award in her name, this eugenicist whom Hitler actually admired, who appeared at KKK gatherings. She wrote freely about her desire to eliminate “human weeds.” It was obvious just what color the weeds were.

Abby Johnson was just like Julia Mae and her relative, before she saw a baby die on an ultrasound. She was being pressured to INCREASE the number of abortions her clinic performed, and this was causing her great stress and confusion, because she had believed for years that PP was HELPING women and was trying to REDUCE the numbers of abortions. But she was definitely being pressured because the numbers of abortions were dropping at her clinic. The ultrasound just clinched the deal for her. The “penny dropped” when she realized what PP was really all about, and that is money from abortions.

May God help abortion workers everywhere, including Julia Mae’s relative, to leave this killing field and find other employment. Please pray for them.

Sorry if I lumped you together with Julia Mae. The tone of your post seemed more positive toward PP but I do make mistakes and perhaps I gave you less credit than you deserve.

We really shouldn’t have to have this discussion in a Catholic forum. In fact I can hardly believe that it’s necessary. Why am I trying to defend the efforts to de-fund and destroy Planned Parenthood on this, a Catholic forum? It shouldn’t even be a question.

That’s right. But I’m not really claiming facts that aren’t in the public domain. I am asking for others to provide substantiation for their claims.

I have to admit I have not read through the whole thread but a few things caught my eye:
  1. I was accused of being a liar right off the bat. Why is this? I can only say it is because people do not want to know the truth. In fact, at my interview I was told PP provided prenatal care to pregnant women.
  2. I am accused of being a money grubber. I have made no money off of telling my story. I am a stay at home mom whose husband works two jobs to pay the bills. Nobody gets rich doing prolife work.
  3. Our clinic did abortions every day, all day long, except Sundays. There were a few gyn appointments and HIV testing sprinkled in, but that was not the norm.
  4. My only hope is that more people question the party line of Planned Parenthood and seek the truth.
I am not going to weigh in more on this unless anyone has a particular question, but I do think that when someone cynically says I am a liar and making a buck off my story, they are grossly misinformed.

I hardly think “ethics” is much of an issue in this case, and in any case, it is off-topic. However, people share their jobs and all sort of “secrets” with their intimate relations, spouses, friends, relatives. A job is a great part of someone’s life. Trying to make this into some huge deal isn’t compelling at all. I don’t have the nuclear launch codes.

The question is simply what’s factual. It looks, from reports from a biased source, as if PP in Texas might possibly be rife with corruption. Or not. After two years, still no charges filed. That’s a fact. If charges are filed and substantiated, it still won’t say anything about the organization generally. Or shall we scrap the whole Church because of corruption, also?
