Former Planned Parenthood Worker: It Only Cares About Abortion

We really shouldn’t have to have this discussion in a Catholic forum. In fact I can hardly believe that it’s necessary. Why am I trying to defend the efforts to de-fund and destroy Planned Parenthood on this, a Catholic forum? It shouldn’t even be a question.
I agree but unfortunately there are pro-death Catholics. Thursday is the surgical abortion day at the planned parenthood closest to where I live. They give out the abortion pill any day. We gets mothers from 4 different states because our state has very lenient abortion regulations. McDonalds is more regulated.

I was praying at PP last Thursday when a woman in a brand new SUV stopped her car and said that we should be ashamed of ourselves (me and an older gentlemen were praying the rosary). He asked if she knew what they were doing inside that building. She said not only did she know but that she had an abortion six months ago. Then went on to say that she was a Catholic and taught CCD. Also, said that if one of her students had been raped she would take them to have an abortion. It is disgusting. You send your daughter to CCD and she has a teacher that thinks abortion is okay and would take your daughter for an abortion. Not sure how she covers “thou shall not kill” in her class.

Julie - we have a Christian non-profit organization called CareNet that will help with pre-natal care. It is walking distance from PP. We have driven girls the two blocks that decided to not get an abortion.

I see. I wasn’t aware of that. At any rate, a friend told me about the thread. Normally I don’t respond to anything, but I confess I found it curious that on a Catholic forum there was so much debate about Planned Parenthood. I’m amazed and saddened.

It was through Holy Mother Church that my eyes were opened to the horror of the abortion industry, and my culpability in the deaths of thousands of children. It is through Holy Mother Church that I was forgiven, set free, and sent forth. And it is through her that all will be led to the truth.

Like any organization, PP has legal recourse if false charges are made against them. They would surely defend themselves against any defamation and slander if that was what was going on. I think we see here that PP is not able to refute the claims made by past employees.

God bless you in the work you do.

The third video is by Lila Rose, a truly courageous young lady who has been doing expose’ videos of Planned Parenthood by going undercover as a young girl. I had the honor of meeting her 3 years ago and a nicer and sweeter person you could never hope to meet. She was home schooled up to university, just a dear young lady.

That you believe this does not make it true. “They would surely,…” reminds me of the cops who used to say, “If he was innocent he would act like this…”

So, let’s see. Do you know what they have said? Are you a regular reader of their news releases? Or do you only frequent prolife sites? Do you think that they have a legal department? Do you think that this sort of thing is left to lawyers and courts?

Would you spend time answering false charges? Why? How do you prove a negative? If I ran PP I would tell everyone to ignore the accusations and stick to business.

Would you believe anything they said, anyway?

The argument that “they didn’t say they weren’t so that means they are…” is pretty specious. What shall I accuse you of? Have you stopped beating your dog?

I hardly think “ethics” is much of an issue in this case, and in any case, it is off-topic. However, people share their jobs and all sort of “secrets” with their intimate relations, spouses, friends, relatives. A job is a great part of someone’s life. Trying to make this into some huge deal isn’t compelling at all. I don’t have the nuclear launch codes.

The question is simply what’s factual. It looks, from reports from a biased source, as if PP in Texas might possibly be rife with corruption. Or not. After two years, still no charges filed. That’s a fact. If charges are filed and substantiated, it still won’t say anything about the organization generally. Or shall we scrap the whole Church because of corruption, also?
Stop drawing a parallel between the Holy Catholic Church and Planned Parenthood! You did it earlier by comparing any criticism of Planned Parenthood to the priest scandals, and now here you are bringing in the name of the church in a similar context.

I want to know WHY you are defending Planned Parenthood so doggedly. Why, Julia Mae? When their own employees are coming out more and more and saying exactly what pro-lifers have been alleging for years, why is it your job to defend them?

Thanks for the links. I’d like to hear when someone in Texas files criminal charges based on their investigation.

I’ll order that book when I get paid.
We are already celebrating the closure of 13 Planned Parenthood clinics since our legislature passed and our Governor signed a bill de-funding them in the state of Texas. We WILL win this battle. Count on it. May God have mercy on the souls of abortion workers.

👍

That’s right. But I’m not really claiming facts that aren’t in the public domain. I am asking for others to provide substantiation for their claims.

I have to admit I have not read through the whole thread but a few things caught my eye:
  1. I was accused of being a liar right off the bat. Why is this? I can only say it is because people do not want to know the truth. In fact, at my interview I was told PP provided prenatal care to pregnant women.
  2. I am accused of being a money grubber. I have made no money off of telling my story. I am a stay at home mom whose husband works two jobs to pay the bills. Nobody gets rich doing prolife work.
  3. Our clinic did abortions every day, all day long, except Sundays. There were a few gyn appointments and HIV testing sprinkled in, but that was not the norm.
  4. My only hope is that more people question the party line of Planned Parenthood and seek the truth.
I am not going to weigh in more on this unless anyone has a particular question, but I do think that when someone cynically says I am a liar and making a buck off my story, they are grossly misinformed.

God bless all of you who have kept me in your prayers, who know the battle we are facing, and those of you who work so tirelessly for the unborn. +JMJ+

In Mary’s Immaculate Heart,

You are in my prayers. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do.

Let’s look at the propaganda being sold here. See the picture:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

This is the start and end of the video. The title over the video is “Planned Parenthood” But the woman who testifies never mentions Planned Parenthood. I don’t know of a state where a PP clinic can do an induced labor abortion. Doesn’t mean there might not be one, I just don’t know of any.

If you say Obama is the antichrist will I agree? Oh, heck yes. I’ve also been saying for years that we cannot win this fight by denying choice. We can make strides by saying that all a woman has the choice to do is become “unpregnant” and that all doctors must do what they can to preserve the life of the fetus. All women who choose abortion must give up their “parental” rights in perpetuity. Now all we need are about 100k families a year to offer to raise the children.

BUT - this thread is about Planned Parenthood not the evil guy in the White House. That video is not about Planned Parenthood. The presentation is intended to make you think it is. That makes it… a lie.

We can’t be on God’s side and lie. At all.

Go here forums.catholic-questions.org/member.php?u=1 where you can PM Forum Admin. On most forums, you have to send a screenshot or scan of a driver’s license or have some other way of confirming identity. This is common to all forums, as far as I know. For instance, a poster can’t use the name “Fr. Something” without proving they are a priest.
Why should anyone have to prove their identity on this forum? This member isn’t claiming to be a priest. I have never been in any forum where anyone was asked to do this. It’s outrageous that you should ask this.

I’ll be sure to call and confirm all that you have claimed in this thread.

LOL! It’s the number of the National Headquarters of Planned Parenthood in New York City available on their website. It is not anyone’s personal work number. But you can use it to confirm things I’ve said here, which is what I was asked.

Yes, we must do all we morally can do to defend life from conception until natural death. You are a Christian, right? You are a Catholic, you understand that Holy Mother Church will never permit abortion?

So your friend actually works at the National Headquarters and not in a local PP office? Because you challenged us to call our local PP office and see the response we got and how soon/often we could schedule an abortion and if one was “urged” to do so. Calling the National Headquarters is not going to get the same results as you challenged CAF members to do, isn’t that what you are questioning about my own personal experience with the response of the local PP office? And who knew they would be so willing to talk to me on the Lord’s Day as well, imagine.

In the forum rules you are not allowed to have a name of anyone real who isn’t yourself or make any claim that you are a real person not yourself. (That’s from memory. I’ll go see if I can find it and post that here.) So, when someone comes in claiming to be a real person who is also subject of the thread and also someone in the news, I believe it makes sense to confirm they are who they say they are. There’s nothing outrageous about it at all.

Yet you can make a post claiming to be the phone number of your intimate friend relative and it is untrue

Thread pruned and started over.
Please observe the forum rules please.
