http://media2.giga.de/2014/11/Serious.gifGood article. There are Catholics publications that are not house organs or far-right propaganda sheets. The best may be the respected moderate weekly, The National Catholic Reporter, published in Kansas City. Then there is the excellent quarterly journal Conscience, published by the Washington-based Catholics for Choice. I recommend both.
Keep in mind Fr. G also said the Church’s response on this issue was no different from that of other religious and secular systems that served children decades ago. It should have been better, but wasn’t.I’m out of the loop on those media outlets, but as Fr. Benedict Groeschel said 10 years ago, the Catholic Church has handed the leftist media the sword. There is no surprise. When THE moral authority of the world becomes contaminated as the Church has, the secularist, so-called humanist philosophy fills the void.
