Most of the explanations are from the great work of St. Augustine’s Harmony of the Gospels. That work has been translated but it is difficult to locate desired passages from it. I have arranged it in the Study Bible so that all the Gospels passages are very easy to find. This way hopefully people will make use of the hard work and brilliant explanations of St. Augustine. Its a shame that it has not been not utilized because it is a very ingenious work.
As for the work I did, it should be a handy study tool in order to easily compare Gospel passages among the 4 Gospels and to defend them against those who say they contradict each other.
