I am thinking about getting protective cases for my breviaries, however, they are a little expensive to get all four. I’ve noticed that Volume II seems to be the biggest of the breviary volumes, so if you have a case for II, could you see how it fits on the other volumes? It would be nice to get only one case for all volumes.

I have one cover for all four. Each time we change breviaries I slip the previous volume out and the next volume in. As far as I have observed, my priest does the same. I do not know anyone who has four separate cases for their four-volume breviary, although I would prefer that.

I do. I have the coloured 4-volume set, so I got the four covers in each their own colours. Overkill, maybe, but hey, they have I, II, III and IV respectively, so I got them to match.

Not overkill at all in my book—as I said, I would prefer doing it that way. I just don’t currently have the money for it.

Look them up and there sold as belonging to specific volumes. Which “volume” should I get? II or III/IV? I is too small. :highprayer:

I am assuming you are talking about the American English Liturgy of the Hours (not the Extraordinary Form Roman Breviary). If so, I use this and it works well as a one-size-fits-all.

Vinyl Cover Case

I’m talking about English. Didn’t know EF had four volumes. The general case the last poster linked says it fits Christian Prayer as well. Would a Christian Prayer case fit any of the four volumes?

I bought plastic expenses covers for each and one cover to change out according to volume as needed…this works well for me and all are always with covered…hope this helps!

That particular one apparently will. Since it doesn’t say it was made for a specific volume of the breviary, I would think they’ve sized it to fit the largest of the breviaries it cites in the description which by definition would mean any of the smaller books would also fit.

In general, yes a CP case will fit the LOTH books.
