Four Way and the Scapular?

If I wear the four-way medal with the miraculous, st. jospeh, st. christopher, and scapular medals, do I have to wear the wool scapular? I was already invested in the scapular. My grandfather passed away and my grandmother gave me his four-way medal that he wore 24-7.
It is more convient because I do alot of swimming and I don’t have to take off the medal to go.

I received a four way medal cross for confirmation last week. I’m not invested in the brown scapular. But it is blessed and I do still wear it because it’s pretty cool.

As long as you are already enrolled in the brown scapular, the medal can be substituted. This is true if it is a scapular medal by itself or a four-way. You don’t have to keep wearing the cloth scapular but the medal should be blessed. It just needs a simple blessing not the full scapular blessing.

That’s good to know. I’ve heard so many different things about the Four way and Scapular medals VS the regular brown Scapular that it’s nice to finally get that streightened out. Thanks.
