Fox Pushes For Illegals - Again

See President Fox’s statements fron yesterday. Fox is anti-American aand slaps U.S. Black in saying it. The man has no shame. I live 8 miles fro the Texas-Mexican Border and may know more about what criminals acts illegals have done in my area than most of you.

These illegals are NOT trained middle -class workers. They are poorly educated (if any) unskilled riff-raff for the most part. But they are well schooled on how to get FREE Hospitals stays, how to get on Welfare lists and how to avoid paying when they cause an automobile accident. They cause our county almost 1 billion yearly. That takes away from US Citizens and US schools.

If the Catholic Perspective would pay the Billions of Dollars that illegals eat up yearly it would be logical but not acceptable.You seem to equate the musings of a handful of Northern Bishops to Catholic Dogma that is derived from a Magesterial Council. No Sir! Words from a few Bishops are not Catholic Dogma,i.e., those words do not have to believed. They are not expected to be touted by all Catholics as infallable.

The Few Bishops are not impinged upon by these 11 milliom illegals. These Bishops in that conference are sitting way up in New England away from the chaos. They didn’t offer one dollar to help out schools in Texas that are ovver burdned with extra students who cant speak English and flood the cafeterias for free food. Where is the Catholic money? There is none. All the Bishops ( and a very small number at that) have is words, just words. These platitudes remind me of a teenager who wants everything but will not get a job - he thinks he is deserving of things because he is here. Blah. I have been here a long time aand all I got was the G.I. Bill and I earned that. What illegal has EARNED food stamps, hospital,schools welfare and preferential treatment by the Governmant? Tell me.

Personally I took in two homeless people and got another a job in the past two years. It cost money to do that, have you or the Bishops done that? Or do the Bishops want to spend MY money?

While there are definitely many issues with immigration that need to be worked out, the leadership within the Universal Church would be remiss if it began to classify people in terms of nationality and economic worthiness. Any statement from the US Bishops that complained about or maligned the immigrants would not be true to the necessary element of universality in the the Catholic Church.

That being said, the US Government needs to find a suitable, diplomatic solution to this problem. It seems to me that those who are living along the Mexican border are very frustrated and as citizens, the US should be listening to these concerns. We should all be petitioning our representatives in Congress to press for real solutions.
