You don’t think outrageous bigotry is immoral? Archie Bunker was a great comedic character, precisely because he was often rude and bigoted. Imagine if every episode had featured him having a respectful, polite conversation with his son-in-law. Kind of a snooze fest, no?

Of course in real life bigotry is immoral. Archie Bunker was poking fun at it.
The shows that need to come off the air are those that just assume immorality is normal, everybody falling into bed on the first date, making fun of someone’s faith, taking God’s name in vain, stuff like that.
Mocking the devil is a time honored tradition that we should do more of.
