I am asking for the prayers for the soul and for the comfort of his family for Father Don Dueweke from the Diocese of Saginaw.

Fr. Dueweke was ordained in 1966, served as a high school counselor and professor and counselor at the now-closed St. Paul Seminary in Saginaw. He also was the first director of our Diocese’s Lay Ministry program. He retired in 2004.

Bishop Carlson will officiate the funeral on Tuesday. Fr. Robert Dueweke will be the homilist.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy Souls in Purgatory. Amen

The Lord is with thee.

of thy womb, Jesus.

The info I posted is available in several Michigan newspapers and on the Diocese website. I just wanted people to know a tiny bit about him.
 
I will be praying for him to join the angels and saints in heaven!

May Fr. Deuweke rest in peace. Amen.
