…and that, in a nutshell, is why so many stick to the Traditional ways.

And this, in a nutshell is why priests are so well-versed in theology, though what is being described, simple rules, is fundamentalism. Some opinions are informed. Some are ignorant. Christianity is simple, but living it is not. Easy answers, simple sentences, are okay for some purposes, but not for all.

Well…PNewton, you may be right…
I’ve been around long enough to realize that the simple, direct approach appeals to me and seems to work. The pragmatist in me says that people are simply wired differently, and some learn and grow better with the VII type approach. And that’s OK.
