I joined this forum after reading some posts re: Fr. Isaac Mary Relyea. As it happens, we at Blessed Sacrament in Kansas City, Ks., have the grace of having this holy priest with us for some months. However he is so in demand that he’ll be leaving us soon-but he’ll be back too so we’re dealing with it as best we can.

This is a priest who is a gift to the Church in every way. His sermons are stellar, full of truth, without frills/flourishes. Yet I and other parishioners so often say: ‘This is exactly what we need’, and we’re not kidding.

Fr. Isaac spoke clearly about the horror of Notre Dame’s invitation to pro-death Obama; just as he speaks clearly about abortion, politics, and Michael Jackson when it’s called for. He doesn’t leave us in the dark about what Holy Mother Church would have us do.

And in the confessional, this priest acts like you’re the only soul he has to save that day-and this after hours of confessions…

God bless him and Mary keep him for many years to come, to bring the Faith to so so many in darkness, even in the NO Church…
 
Dear Marco Polo: You know, that’s the only thing I don’t know about Fr. Isaac! I’ve not heard the testimony, don’t have the CD.

What’s the story? I don’t doubt it’s astonishing.

The CD is only $4 in the link in my previous post ($3 for an MP3 download that you could burn to CD or play on your computer or ipod). I got the CD in the narthex of a church that accepted donations for any of the CDs there. His story is much like Father Corapi’s actually. He was a prodigal son, living sinfully for years and years, with a devout mother who kept praying for him. He escaped death several times. Our Lady helped him. And he became a priest. :o
 
Kathy, you are truly blessed.

He did a lenten mission at our parish just before he decided to pray the TLM exclusively.

Is he officially FSSP now or is he just helping out?
