In practical terms, what you’re advocating means local variation, regardless of your intent.

I’d say it takes an artist to put on a good secular show and a saint to make changes to a rite that will bring people closer to God. What a liturgical director of a parish will do will, statistically, be more likely to be merely banal or distracting.

Also, the old rite now is a safeguard against banal changes. We had a priest locally who began saying the old rite then added in readings from the new one. Eventually, the Mass had to stop as people stopped coming.

How is accepting what the Vatican teaches and officially promulgates being disobedient? Why don’t you accept it?

I practice COTT to follow centuries of tradition, teaching, and Catholic culture. CITH is a recent phenomena caused by disobedience, suseptible to desecration, contributes to a disbelief in Transubstantiation and mirrors Protestant practices.

You should fix your broken record instead of wasting everyone’s time. If you want to receive CITH, worship a golden calf, or dance a jig during the Offeratory procession then go ahead. The Church has survived worse and the gates of Hell will never prevail.

I have been as charitable as I can with you to this point. Your “it’s in the GIRM” broken record has gone beyond annoying so it’s time to end this encounter with you.

One day soon (hopefully) CITH will be removed from the GIRM. The new bishops seem to be more compliant with the traditional practices of the Church. The next generation of laity will wonder why CITH got into the GIRM for a brief time in the first place. If you are still unclear here is an article to help you.
