Fractions as extreme evil?

But I think that is a problem, with all due respect. Don’t put faith into numbers. If you are scared of numbers, then use them all the more. The number 6 doesn’t mean any thing, beyond what God wants it to mean. And as far as I know, Catholic theology says it’s nothing but a number.

If you are scrupulous, I don’t think it’s a good idea to read things from other religions and denominations. It’s best to stick to Catholic literature if that’s the case. Speak to your priest about it. 🙂

True, but they used a ‘measuring line’ to measure the circumference of the bronze laver. Either the circumference of 30 cubits is an approximation, or the diameter of 10 cubits is an approximation, or both of the measurements are approximations.
