I wonder if they have “Mother’s Day” and “Father’s Day” in France; if so, they may have to change to “Parent’s Day.”
AH but the people and the movement behind this whole thing can’t really become “parents” either! That must be the next word to go logically.
Which won’t be “bad” or “double ungood” you see - but it will be the law.
“Caretaker’s Day?” Who could be against THAT?
Lol, when I think about it, where there IS a “Mother’s Day” good luck in trying to remove THAT! Father’s Day? A bit different.
“Dad? What do you want for Father’s Day?”
“Hmm. What?”
“What do you want for Father’s Day?”
“When is it?”
“Tomorrow?” “Tomorrow?”
“Yes.” “I don’t know - get me whatever you want - or save your money”
“OK” “Where did YOU get money anyhow?”
“Whenever you sleep on the couch, you leak a lot of change.”
(Dad to himself) “This is an 11 year old child. What the heck could he get me that I couldn’t get for myself. And BETTER!”
Dad’s are so logical. :clapping:
Same question to Mom? Rapturous anticipation, a cornucopia of options. Some of them doable!
That was my family anyway.
