Has anyone here had any contact with them, or been to visit, or met them? I’ve been to their site (several times) and watched videos and such on their order, and it looks simply amazing. Has anyone actually met a sister from this order before?

I have not been in contact with them, but I know that they are a happy bunch.

I read the thread about them at phatmass, and the more I read, the better they sound. 😃 👍

I have met two of the CFR sisters, Sr. Agnes and Sr. Catherine. I met them at a retreat last year for Catholic Young Adults. The CFR Friars were hosting the retreat, so I got to meet them too. All of them are so full of the Lord. Before I discovered I was to be a Carmelite, I considered them in my discernment. I still hold them close to my heart because I love the work they are doing with the youth. If you feel called to them, I would strongly advise you to start forming a relationship with them. If you are close enough to their convent, you could participate in some of the CFR activities, such as the walks and others. They are amazing people of God!

Actually, both of the sisters I met are in the picture posted. They are the only sisters in the second row with the black veils. Sr. Catherine is on the left, and Sr. Agnes is on the right. Beautiful brides of Christ!

The link about the book is here:

My daughter had Fr. G sign it for her at a Theology on Tap in our area…he was very sweet although he wasn’t feeling well. (cold) So were the brothers with him, a genuinely holy group, I think.

I haven’t met them, but I really like them based off their web site. I’ve been reading about them for a while and I hope to meet them when I get to Steubie and get furthur along in discernment. That picture is so cute 🙂

It seems I may be called to the CFR Sisters after all. I went on a retreat again, like last year, and saw Sr. Agnes again and a newly professed sister, Sr. Maria Teresa. I also saw Fr. Gabriel Mary again, and met Fr. Glenn, Br. John Mary, and Br. Daniel. I am really in love with their charism. I want to visit them in person this coming year to see if my heart finds peace while I’m in their territory. I can’t think of the Carmelites right now, LOL. The CFRs fill my thoughts. 😃
