NO NO NO NO… They could not have done this.:bigyikes:. We have progressives screaming allover these boards that the Traditional Mass is withering away and not profiting at all from the SP. Why some claim that they have seen a drop in attendance in their areas and others claim that the cliquish clannish Traditionalists will soon be a thing of memory only and good riddance:thumbsup:.

No these young orders could not possibly be doing something like this. It goes against everything that progressives tell us. Remember, according to at least one US Cardinal there is no participation in the Traditional Mass so what could these groups be looking for?:hmmm:

Now if only we could convince the OFM’s, OFM Conv, and OFM Cap to start using the 1962 Missals and Breviaries what joy it would be!. 👍
 
I STILL have never been to a Traditional Liturgy, but this makes me pretty happy 😃 Come on Canada, keep up with these guys!
 
Sounds great. I met someone a couple times who was discerning a vocation with them and he seemed like a very devout soul. From what I understand this order draws heavily from the spirituality of St. Maximillian Kolbe.

I’m happy to hear this!

The FI’s postulant house is in Maine, NY. It’s rather far for me drive there, and the Mass is very early in the morning.

I_Believe…Why did you put ‘Jerusalem’ in you quote? I love that hymn-I first heard that at the end of the movie ‘Chariots of Fire’!

Hi Barb. I don’t know why, but when I saw the OP, it just popped in my head immediately.

There is a story about the recording of it by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. Airplay of their recording of it was banned in the UK. I can’t reall the reason they gave. ELP was a progressive rock band back in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.

When we changed to english, I was very disapointed, so, I tried to get a goopdlook at it before I got mad!
My wife and I became eucharistic ministers nd lectors and she became active inCCD and I inhte service of communionand the roasary at converlescent hospitals. And we say that these changes were good and were impossible under the old latin rite. So, we love the english mass and have attended the old latin rite mass’and really donn’t like them anymore!
