Free Catholic Bible Study that is excellent?

Is there a self study Catholic bible study that can be run by anyone that is free? I am tired of being invited to bible studies that are protestant. I want to start my own informal bible study that we can study the Word of God in a Catholic prespective. I am not very organized or even know where to start but would like to follow a structure. Also, my bible study would be to evanglized protestants to Catholic teaching. Is there Bible study strictly geared to help Catholics teach protestants the Catholic faith going through the bible? Of course since I am doing it on my own I don’t have the financial resources to by $100 courses which I’ve seen. And it I do not want to go through my parish because it is too much red tape and has to be scheduled on specific dates. I would like it to be informal and just have people come to my house when I am in converstation and not have to wait until the next bible study at the parish.

I have been looking for a site online myself to study the scriptures and am having a difficult time finding a catholic one. Some I found were a bit difficult to navigate or to understand. There are many protestant sites that are easy to understand but how am I to know if their understanding is correct. Will be following this to see if anyone knows of an easy to understand online catholic studies. An example this month I wanted to study the book of Philippians…and most places I look at only have specific verses not the entire book. I also live on limited funds and can not afford to buy into studies. Yes, we need an easy to understand the scriptures online bible study…will be looking for one.

The Catholic home study service

This is more of a topical study than just straight Biblical, but it is very definitely Catholic and very definitely free. (You can donate if you wish of course)

I have completed all of them and I highly recommend them to one and all. You’ll find that you will be using your Bible quite a lot and of course it is encouraged.

I rate this as one of the best around.
