Hi, everyone! I noticed that many Catholics have pointed out that they had trouble finding online the latest edition of the published list of indulgences translated into English. Yesterday, I stumbled upon the website of a Catholic parish in Texas, which has posted a copy online. I’m a new user, so I am not allowed to post links yet. I would greatly appreciate it if somebody on this forum could share the link on this thread for me, so that others can view it. If you type in “St. Theresa 1999 Indulgence” on Google Search, click on the second result that pops up. It is a PDF file posted by St. Theresa Catholic Church in Premont, Texas. That should be the correct one.
This is the official Manual of Indulgences that was originally published in 1999, then later translated into English in 2006 by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Most websites you find quote the 1968 Enchiridion, but that was the first edition and has since been superseded by the latest edition, which is the 4th edition. Several of the grants for indulgences have been broadened for this most recent edition. If you’re a Catholic interested in gaining some indulgences and you don’t own a copy of the Manual of Indulgences, 4th Edition, make sure to check it out. God bless!
