Hi,
I am looking for some free or almost free prayer cards to hand out to people in nursing homes, hospitals, and shut-ins. Bookmarks with with biblical quotes on them would also be great. Autom.com has some for 6 cents, but I would like a nice variety. Any suggestions?
Autom has a huge variety. And their quality is good. And they are cheap. I don’t know that you will find them any cheaper.Funny, I just ordered holy cards from Autom just this morning. I was wondering the same thing - is there anywhere else to get them that cheap or even cheaper?
p.s. Autom also has some for five cents.
I am not that talented.I had this idea long ago, but never followed up with it. I went around the church and took pictures of much of the artwork, statues, altar, etc. with the idea that I would make a slideshow for people who couldn’t come to church. I thought about making a Way of the Cross themed slideshow for lent. What if you did the same thing, and printed your own prayer cards with images from your own parish? Card stock is relatively inexpensive, and the biggest cost would probably be your ink.
Just an idea…
Try this site, I think they have them for 2-3 cents apiece. Just a caveot though, I have not seen their cards and this may be an SSPX site. I haven’t explored it very much but kind of stumbled upon it.Funny, I just ordered holy cards from Autom just this morning. I looked at the site. It doesn’t have much, but everything on the site is inexpensive. ThanksTry this site, I think they have them for 2-3 cents apiece. Just a caveot though, I have not seen their cards and this may be an SSPX site. I haven’t explored it very much but kind of stumbled upon it.

I checked out this website a little more thoroughly. It seems to espouse numerous heresies condemned by the church. I would be hesitant to order anything from them.Try this site, I think they have them for 2-3 cents apiece. Just a caveot though, I have not seen their cards and this may be an SSPX site. Printer ink is very expensive. Much cheaper to buy cards for $.06/ea than try to print your own.I had this idea long ago, but never followed up with it. Thanks for your suggestion. I have done that and am now receiving a few that way.Ask the Parish Office if they will put a little line in the bulletin “So and so is accepting donations of holy cards to distribute at nursing homes.” place a box in the back of church or in the office to collect them. We do this often for various ministries and are always amazed at the outpouring of items donated.
Try TAN Books…I heard they were giving free prayer cards (on Radio, and there is another publisher doing this also, just forgot it).Hi,

Thanks. I didn’t see anything about free prayer cards, but the small number of cards that they have are somewhat inexpensive. The price range appears to be $5.00 to $7.75 for 100 cards.Try TAN Books…I heard they were giving free prayer cards (on Radio, and there is another publisher doing this also, just forgot it).

On the home page it states that there is no salvation outside the Catholic Church period. The Catholic Church has always taught that “other sheep not of this fold” may be given the grace and understanding for salvation even if they have never come in contact with the teachings of Jesus Christ. Pope Paul VI stated this in “Credo of the People of God” on January 30, 1968. It was not a new concept, just a reminder of what the Church teaches.Galnextdoor–Please tell us what heresies are involved in olrl, Our Lady of the Rosary Library. I was unaware until now that they have a website, but I know this family from church events and I am shocked to hear that.
This site is awesome! It’s probably the cheapest you will find. I have ordered from them a couple of times and will continue to do so in the future. They also have cheap shipping.Try this site, I think they have them for 2-3 cents apiece. Just a caveot though, I have not seen their cards and this may be an SSPX site.
