Free will in heaven?

Do we still make our own choices in Heaven? Or would we be totally submitted to God. I remember Jesus said that we would be like angels, but even angels still have free will. Does Mary have free will in heaven?

Yes we do have free will in Heaven. I forget which saint said it but they said something like this, and I’m just paraphrasing.

The saints roamed around free on Earth, do you think that in Heaven they will be tied to a post?.

That doesn’t mean we will sin in Heaven. Those in Heaven have been completely wiped clean of every sin, and desire for sin. So, it’s like saying I can cut off my arm, but of course I wouldn’t do that!

Mary certainly does have free will, and she chooses to pray and watch over her children.

We commit sins here on earth because of weakness, ignorance, et cetera. But we won’t be burdened with any of those faults in Heaven. We will have absolutely zero desire to commit sins in heaven.

The comment that we will be like the angels – meaning that we will have glorified bodies like Jesus had after His resurrection. And there won’t be marriage in heaven.

‘cjkaupke’ – you’re right – we sin Here because of Satan’s influence / weakness / ignorance, etc. There Won’t be any of that in heaven. We’ll have been made perfect through the blood that Jesus Christ shed on the cross for us.

Mary has free will in heaven as do all the saints, but their wills being perfected as they are in heaven can only will for the good, thus they can never will anything sinful/evil.
