Yeah, part of my research was reading through their “ritual”, called “Duncan’s Ritual”, and they don’t have to make any such oath as saying all religions are equal to each other.

It appears to be a lot of seemingly harmless references to the builders of King Solomon’s Temple, and some legend about one “Hiram Abiff” who they believe was the Grand Master of the stonemason’s guild at the building (no biblical account of any of it).

But, it still is irreconcilable with Church teaching, due to being indifferent.

Never seen it.

I highly recommend the episode of the Clerically Speaking podcast about Freemasonry. I thought Fr. Anthony Sciarappa’s explanation was very fair – he didn’t say anything I knew to be false, and he was very measured in his criticism.

Wasn’t familiar until you mentioned him earlier. I looked him up a few minutes ago and read a little Freemasonry FAQ he had written and didn’t have any objections to anything he said, so he may be a good source.

They have a God called jab Baal ohm according to a book I read from someone who had left it

Yeah, I never saw that in any of their writings that I found. I did, however, see the names “Jubela, Jubelo, and Jubelum”; the names of the 3 murderers of this “Hiram Abiff” that they have that legend about.

Maybe something was lost in translation? Because the only way I’ve seen that they refer to God is by the title “Grand Architect of the Universe”. (All of this, from their “Duncan’s Ritual”; the script for their meetings)
