Death, judgment, heaven and hell.
Sirach 7:36 (RSVCE)
In all you do, remember the end of your life,
and then you will never sin.
I started to consider these quite seriously as of lent last year.
As a result God allowed me to overcome the sins of the flesh, of course the devil still tempts me but as soon as I remember my last days everything becomes clear. So I remember these four things and pray then carry on with my present task.
The value of this meditation has significantly helped me not only with temptations but also with an increase of faith, hope, charity, works of mercy and prayers both for the living and the dead.
Any thoughts on this?
