Fridays and meat and fish

2 quick questions, I know that we need to abstain from meat every Friday of lent but what about other Fridays? Also if it’s friday do we have to eat fish?
 
As @1ke said, no. You could eat nothing but vegetables and that would be fine. You just have to abstain from meat.
 
Grilled cheese, an omelet, macaroni and cheese, veggie pizza, eggplant lasagne, PB&J…whatever you like that doesn’t include meat is just fine.
 
I usually make spaghetti and meatballs Thursday and then Friday take the leftover pasta and pan fry it similar to a pancake with some olive oil and just eat with sauce (or gravy depending on your locale) and no meatballs.
You can add whatever veggies you have to it when you fry it, garlic, mushrooms, peppers, ect… Add a salad and some bread and it is and it is a very filling and tasty meal…
I think it is quite common overseas, not so much in southern Indiana 😏
