Dear Brothers and Sisters,
For sometime now, it seems that “Reparation” is not mentioned much, despite the almost overwhelming evidence of sins committed in the world today.
Catholics were more aware of their need to do penance for their own sins and the sins of others, in times past, it seems to me. I grew up at a time when First Friday devotions were common and later on the First Saturdays were practiced with some regularity.
Reparation to the Sacred Heart on Fridays and reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Saturdays is still practiced by some but I wonder how many on this Forum continue to have any sense of our need to offer Reparation? I try to make all Fridays and Saturdays days of Reparation and I wonder if any others are inclined to do so. I’d be grateful to know your thoughts on this. Thanks.
