Friend has drifted away

I found out that my best friend moved to Florida about a year ago. He found God about 5 years ago and had become a very spiritual person. He read the bible daily, was passionate about going to church, spreading the word, etc. But when I talked to him for the first time after he moved, he was kind of back to his old self. He was cussing, lauging at things he used to not, acting different(he wasn’t doing these things a lot but I never expected to see any of them from the guy I knew).

He hasn’t drifted away from God totally, though. He still has strong beliefs as far as I know, but his actions and words just don’t always line up anymore. Please pray that God gives him the wisdom to make his actions and words line up again and the strength and humility to come back to Him and find His love again. Thanks in advance.
 
That sounds painful.
I ask the Holy Spirit to heal him of cynicism and disillusionment, and join you in asking God “to give him the strength and humility to come back to Him and find His love again.”

May the Holy Spirit inspire you to anything that will help to restore your friend to faith, reverence and to living according to the gospel.

May God open his heart and mind
so that he can control his mouth and actions.
I will be praying for him to find good people
to hang around in Florida.
