My dear friend, a devout Catholic woman, has endured constant headaches for several years; not a day goes by that her head doesn’t hurt. No one has been able to get to the source. She was the victim of a serious prescription drug error that caused seizures and likely plays a part in this; there is a lawsuit, but it is dragging on, and the pain continues. The headaches make it difficult for her to get to work on time (she is a nurse) and she really needs this job. She confided that she recently had counted out sleeping pills and considered taking enough to go to sleep and not wake up.
She is a dear woman, a loving mother, who has had a very hard time recently (cheating husband, divorce, the prescription error, pain) but hangs onto her faith. She has a spiritual director and sees a psychiatrist, and they both know of the suicidal thoughts. Please pray for her; she is one of the best people I know and deserves a little relief. Thank you.
