Hi everyone,

Last year, a friend of mine in graduate school passed every class except for 1 class in which he had received below a C. Per school policy, he had to repeat the course this school year, which he successfully passed.

From my knowledge he is a hardworking, good hearted individual.

Recently he did poorly on 1 midterm for 1 class. He was able to re-take the midterm, which he studied extremely hard for like he always does, however he did not do well on the re-take. As a result, the school kicked him out of the graduate program.

This means, all his tuition money (at least $30,000+) and 2 years of his life all went down the drain and were basically all for nothing since he cannot return to the school/graduate program. All because of just 1 midterm. He wasn’t even allowed to finish the class, which he may have possibly finished with a decent overall grade in, however since he did not so well on 1 re-take midterm, they kicked him out which in my opinion is ruthless and unfair.

I would like to ask for prayers for a miracle for him that he may somehow be presented with more opportunities to prove himself so that he can remain in the school/graduate program. I would like to also ask for prayers for great news regarding his situation. I also ask for prayers that God may Bless him with strength and guidance.

Come, Holy Spirit, Divine Creator, true source of light and fountain of wisdom! Pour forth your brilliance upon my dense intellect, dissipate the darkness which covers me, that of sin and of ignorance. Grant me a penetrating mind to understand, a retentive memory, method and ease in learning, the lucidity to comprehend, and abundant grace in expressing myself. Guide the beginning of my work, direct its progress, and bring it to successful completion. This I ask through Jesus Christ, true God and true man, living and reigning with You and the Father, forever and ever.

Father, please intercede and allow this student to write the board to allow him/her to pass. May they make an exception. Father may this person follow your word and help spread the good news of your word with your help. In your name, Jesus amen!

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Pray 3xs friend), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you.
