I would like to request prayers for a friend of mine who will be starting chemo tomorrow. I pray the chemo will destroy the cancer and that my friend will stay strong and healthy during the treatments and not suffer severe side effects.

Yes, prayers and Masses for your friend and mine. My friend is starting her third round of Chemo. ALL Cancer patients. God Bless, Memaw

I PRAY FOR 7Sorrows’ friend who starts his/her Chemo Therapy
tomorrow. that he/she will have a positive attitude and TRUST in
God’s goodness, that ultimately God is the one who can help
him/her get well.

Prayer for Healing Cancer

Heavenly Father, I come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. I pray that the cancer that has come into my life soon fades into a quick remission.

I believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on my behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. I ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name I pray,

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you.

For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more.

You were favoured with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.(For 7 Sorrows Friend) Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy.

Prayers for your friend going through chemo.

I have a 22 yr old niece who’s been going through chemo since last March 2014.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal 7 Sorrows friend. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into 7 Sorrows friend’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
 
Lord we pray for healing for this particular person who is sick. Please send your blessings and grace. This we pray through Christ , Our Lord
