Please pray for my friend L., who lost her baby. Also pray for her husband Z.

Prayer for Those Experiencing Miscarriage

God, We remember all babies who have died as a result of miscarriage. We remember all mothers and fathers whose hearts are aching and arms empty, who never had a chance to love or hold their babies. We ask God’s healing to fill the void and emptiness that has been left. Amen.

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular L and her husband, Z), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I USED to not care for miscarriages, but
now I have RESPECT for human life and
am SORRY that your friend L had a mis-
carriage, may the Lord console her in her
loss.

I feel that there is nothing more difficut than losing a child-- I lost my first baby and have never forgotten the anxiety I felt in having to go home without her. God blessed me with 3 additional children and I thank God every day of my life.
