I have two friends who are struggling right now.
One has made the decision to go to detox and recovery. He’s in a hotel room right now waiting to get in, but has serious trouble with drugs and alcohol, has PTSD, depression and is very despondent. He’s 400 miles away, and we are helpless right now.
At this time, we’re opening our doors to a woman and her six kids until they find a house, and we can’t leave. As it is, hopefully in three days he’ll get into the place.
Please pray for his recovery and his true response to healing.
May our Lord touch him in a miraculous way.
The other friend lives with us in the basement. She has social anxiety, agoraphobia and despression. She was considering suicide last month, she told me. Now she’s awaiting results for possible breast cancer. She said she hopes she has it so she can just die. I talked to her for hours and she seemed better, but I’ve been down that road with her before. She has been self-weaning herself off her meds, which is not a healthy solution.
We need a miracle for these people!
And please pray for me and my husband that the Holy Spirit guides us, and gives us the gift of patience, hospitality and peace. I know that the Lord wants us to do this, and I have serenity. But, lol, it might be the calm before the storm.
Thank you and God Bless.
