Please pray for my friend M’s mother who died of cancer earlier this week. Also pray for M. and his father as they mourn her loss.

Eternal rest grant unto M’s mother, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May she rest in peace.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Lord, please bless and strengthen M and his father during this difficult time and help them to cope with the loss of their wonderful mother and wife. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen.

Holy Mary, St. Joseph and St. Mark, Please pray for this intention. Thank you. Amen.

Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit
and give power to the words of priests
so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance
and return to You, O Lord.

Lord, give us holy priests;
You Yourself maintain them in holiness.
O Divine and Great High Priest,
may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere
and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares
which are continually being set for the souls of priests.
May the power of Your mercy, O Lord,
shatter and bring to naught
all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests,
for You can do all things.

and for light for the priests
