I was so glad to see that there are others in recovery here. I do wish that there was another forum here for those in recovery, looking for help whether it be a family member affected by a substance abuse or the addicted person seeking help. It would be a great forum in which we could help others intergrate their program of recovery and their Catholic faith. I have looked into the Calix program but where I am located there are many catholics in AA who are no longer catholics…they call themselves “recovering catholics”. But here seems to be a need for this type of forum-these days just about every family is affected by addiction.

Email the admins. Perhaps you can even have that forum password protected so people who might be inclined to aggravate cannot enter without permission. This is done on another board I frequent.
