Friends singing "bad" songs during karaoke

When I go to karaoke, my friends chose some songs such as “Sexy and I know it” with those music videos with sexual innuendos and stuff. Aside from not looking at the screen, I don’t think I can do much to avoid it, right?
 
You can avoid going with them to karaoke if the songs bother you…or you could ask them to choose less offensive songs to sing. There is certainly something you can do to avoid it. 👍
 
And if they persist…one can go to the bathroom…and certainly not approve (clap etc)

You should get up and leave. You don’t have to be nasty about it but they will get the point.

Karaoke is just a silly, fun pastime. You seem to have a good understanding of your faith, so I wouldn’t worry about it.
 
or you can ask your friends why are we singing this cheesy bad song in the first place. I think i heard it enough in the madagascar 3 trailer not to mention its hidden sexual agenda.
 
I have been in this situation. I usually leave the room and say “Not this song”. If they sang THAT song our friendship would be OVER

Tell them how you feel, if they are true friends they will not laugh or carry on. If they do consider what is more important to you, them or your faith.

No, but if your friends aren’t truly sexy, you may have a moral duty to point that out and discouraging them from the public giving of false witness.

I mean, just look away, there’s nothing forcing you to look at the screen right? I would just relax and focus on having a good time, doesn’t mean you have to do songs like that. It’s all about picking your battles.
