I hope you’re convalescing ok ! Yes, we need faith and hope in God more than ever now, it seems. Certainly I do!

I appreciate your talking so openly about fear. Sometimes it’s hard for people (I’m including myself) to speak openly about these more difficult feelings. So often some of us avoid or stuff these feelings away somewhere—only to find they come back in unhelpful ways. I like your reminding us that we really have to face this fear. I need to do this more.

Thanks also for putting things into perspective. I’m going to remember God is behind everything that is to our good, and it’s ultimately in God we must have faith. Still, I can’t help but feel encouraged and inspired when I see so many people, including certainly people of faith, working so hard and thoughtfully to save lives, and trying to build systems that work. May God help them!

God bless you! Thank you for your response.
Have a merry Christmas!

Hi Sister,
I enjoy your blogging, even though I usually don’t comment when I read it.

It’s good to be reminded that there are Sisters out there and what their normal lives are like. In this day and age, many of us rarely encounter someone from a religious order anymore. I mostly only see sisters from time to time at Mass. Sometimes if they’re in lay clothes I don’t even know they’re sisters.

I hope you feel better and that you will continue blogging and posting at the other place.

Happy New Year
TB
