…“Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.”

Think about all that you have been given. Read the first part–how much more do you have than those in 3rd world countries–now reread the second part.

I make no judgments, you need to take this to heart, this is Jesus speaking to us.

Indeed, those living in relative luxury here in the USA, and that have been educated in the faith or become consecrated religious, these people have been given much.

I have great pity on these people that are not faithful to the church or the teaching of the magisterium. Many in their care are caught in the typical sins simply because no one told them. No one took the time to preach the truth to them.

How many out there have heard a good solid sermon on abortion during this “Respect Life” month? How many sitting in the pews practice contraception and receive the Eucharist? How many have married outside the faith without the approval of the bishop, or divorced and remarried without anullment? How many are somewhat favorable to the same-sex marriage agenda? All of these are grave matter, and quite possibly mortal sin.

Souls are at steak here today and now. Those that have been given much, much is expected, and rightly so.
