If your parish was going to receive two new religious priests as your pastor and parochial vicar, which religious order or society would you prefer they come from?

I sincerely don’t understand why you felt the need to respond in that case. My question was simple, harmless and hypothetical. Plenty of others had no trouble sharing their preferences. If you couldn’t respond positively, why didn’t you simply skip over it?I sincerely don’t understand the premise of the question. The vast majority of parishes are run by diocesan priests. Those parishes that are run or staffed by religious orders - as was the one I grew up in - typically remain in the charge of that order, or if for some reason the order must withdraw, the parish reverts to diocesan staffing. Parishes aren’t typically swapped among religious orders like musical chairs. Even less so do parishioners get to choose the source of the staffing.
The FSSP are fantastic! I often say they’re the SAS of the Catholic Church (in America they’d be the Navy Seals of the Catholic Church).I don’t know that it would matter for me, but I’d like to have a FSSP parish in the vicinity, just for the change of pace.
