I’m struggling with anger regarding an online forum site, I just keep struggling with angry thoughts regarding various members, staff and moderators. The site has rules that undermine the liberties of Catholics, and I’m just really angry with a lot of things people have said and done on there. I have considered leaving, but I made a lot of really good friends on there, and I can’t bare the thought of leaving them. Two friends in particular have helped me a lot, it thanks to them that I have really grown and matured over the years, thanks to speaking with them.

I really need prayers I can get my mind off of this, and focus on other things.

Totally understand your feelings, of course, but you know, the same thing could just as easily happen on this site. So it’s not about that particular forum. It’s a problem with online forums in general, as discussed extensively here.

But if it’s really just about retaining those two (or more) online friends you made, I don’t see the problem. Just exchange email addresses or befriend them on Facebook, then leave the forum. No?

I can understand your feeling and dilemma. Prayer of peace for you.

Hail Mary, full of grace,
the Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women
And Blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we humbly pray, and do Thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell satan and all the evil spirits that roam around the world seeking the ruin of souls, Amen

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Thanks, that was an interesting thread, it’s certainly got me think about a few things.

I have managed to exchange emails with one of my friends. (perhaps the most valued of all my friends) I already have contact with another one of my friends on another forum, while a third friend of mine is unsure about sharing her email with me, she said she wants to wait until I’m sure about leaving that forum.

In regards to leaving that forum, I’m still unsure, although it may be in my best interest to leave, I do see a few good reasons for me staying. Right now I’m just going to stick with my plan of me taking a long break from that site, and see if I can improve myself to a point where I can handle the stuff that goes on, on there.

I have decided that I will be leaving that online forum site, I have already started my saying goodbyes and tidying up loose ends at that place. Barring something extraordinary happening, I will be gone by tomorrow.

Please pray that I may be able to truly move on from this frustrating experience and shift my attention to other issues that are better for me to deal with.

Thank you.

Let it go friend…you can only provide an example for them…to follow is their choice.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be, Fatima, Amen…
